the factory for a period of time for ageing. This is washed with
water and treated with chemicals in specially designed washing
tanks. The washed material is then checked for its quality and
then dried in stone paved yards. The dried material is then
sieved to remove the short fibres and then blended to different
quality requirements. This is then pressed into blocks, bricks
or Grow bags according to specifications and palleted for
dispatch. Coir Fibre is graded based on its nature of
extraction, color, presence of long and short fibres, impurities
etc. Based on the treatment with chemicals, the coir is varied
in to two types treated and untreated coirs.
